The slider on a page can only take away volume. It starts at whatever the recording gives you and goes down from there. There is no up.
This extension takes the sound of the tab before it reaches your speakers, amplifies it, and hands it back. 100% is the untouched signal, 700% is seven times that. Every tab keeps its own level, so one can scream while the rest stay quiet, and the level comes back by itself after you refresh.
Nothing is recorded on the way through. The sound only passes, gets louder, and plays.
Amplify anything far enough and it stops fitting. The peaks run past what the speaker can produce, get chopped flat, and that is the crackle you hear on other boosters. A limiter is the thing that leans on those peaks a moment before they arrive, so the loud parts stay loud and the sound stays whole.
The line the sound will never cross. Zero is the digital maximum, which is also the loudest and the cleanest setting, because it leaves the limiter the least work to do. Lower it only if your speakers are weak.
The same line, but for everything below 150 Hz. Bass is measured on its own, so a heavy kick does not duck the vocals and the rest of the mix with it. Drop it if the low end booms over everything else.
How many decibels the limiter is allowed to take. Past that line it stops turning things down and saturation shaves the peaks instead. Lower means more bass and a denser sound with more grit, higher means calmer bass held down harder.

Ten presets to start from. Flip on the full mixer and every one of them becomes a starting point you can bend.
Presets are one click. The full mixer opens the same panel wide and hands you every control behind them, so you can build a sound nobody else is listening to.
The tempo of the song. Faster lifts the voice with it, slower deepens it. This is what turns a track into Nightcore or into a slowed edit.
Echo, like the song is playing in a big hall. The more you add, the more distant and dreamy it feels. Half of what makes Slowed + Reverb sound the way it does.
Lifts the high tones. Cymbals and consonants come forward, the whole thing gets sharper and clearer. Good for muddy uploads and old rips.
The opposite move. Takes the top off so it sounds like the music is coming through a wall, from the room next door. The bass stays.
How much low end, and what kind of low end. Pick the character first, then decide how hard it hits.
Pushes the voice to the front so it does not drown under the bass and the reverb. The fix for when you turn everything up and lose the singer.
Glues the mix together and adds that radio-style loudness where nothing drops out. The limiter sits behind it and keeps the peaks from crackling.
Sends the sound circling around your head and sets how fast it goes round. Headphones only, on speakers there is nothing to circle.
